Health Guarantee

Our mission is to provide healthy, high-quality puppies that will bring joy to your life for many years to come. While no puppy can ever replace the unique bond you have with your current four-legged companion, we understand that the loss of a beloved pet can sometimes be softened by welcoming a new one into your home.

In the unfortunate event that your puppy must be euthanized within the first two years of its life due to genetic issues, or if it is diagnosed with a congenital or hereditary disorder that significantly impacts its health, we will offer a replacement puppy of your choice from any of our available litters. To qualify for a replacement, the cause of death or condition must be certified by a licensed veterinarian. If your puppy is still alive but has a serious condition, we may request x-rays or a second opinion to verify the diagnosis.

If a genetic condition or death occurs after your puppy turns two years old, we will offer a 50% credit of your original purchase price toward the cost of a new puppy from any of our litters. As with younger puppies, the diagnosis must be certified by a licensed veterinarian, and we may ask for additional verification such as x-rays or a second opinion.

While we strive to provide the healthiest puppies possible, we cannot guarantee that your puppy will never become ill or require veterinary care beyond routine checkups. Please note that this guarantee does not cover reimbursement for any veterinary bills related to your puppy’s care.

Exclusions from Coverage.

We cannot guarantee your puppy’s temperament, conformation, size, weight, color, or breeding ability.

If your puppy develops hip or elbow dysplasia, I cannot offer a replacement if the puppy is overweight or if you are unable to provide proof of a proper diet of premium food and a history of joint supplement usage. Any changes to your puppy’s diet must be pre-approved by the breeder to maintain the health guarantee.

In the event of a diagnosis of hip or elbow dysplasia, the breeder will require x-rays and a second opinion from a veterinarian of the breeder’s choice.

Additionally, this guarantee is void if routine medical care has not been properly maintained. This includes vaccinations, deworming, heartworm prevention, and flea and tick prevention. Your puppy must be seen annually by a licensed veterinarian, and all recommended vaccinations and preventive treatments must be up to date.

This guarantee does not cover any costs related to spaying or neutering, including undescended testicles.

Failure to provide adequate and consistent veterinary care will nullify this guarantee.

Requirements from Your End.

Nothing brings us more joy than knowing we’ve played a role in welcoming a happy, healthy puppy into your family. To help ensure this, We will have your puppy examined by a veterinarian within one week before you take them home. We kindly ask that you also have your veterinarian conduct a health examination within five days of bringing your puppy home.

Your puppy will come with all age-appropriate vaccinations and dewormings, though additional vaccinations may still be needed to complete the series. We will provide a record of all vaccinations and dewormings your puppy has received, along with recommendations for their next round of care. From there, you and your veterinarian can determine the best ongoing vaccination and health plan for your puppy.
